The (Nuu) Co Pty Ltd can issue you with a Body Corporate Information Certificate (Form 13) under s. 205 of the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (Qld) which a vendor must include as part of its Vendor’s Disclosure Statement when selling their lot.

 

Why we don't prepare Vendor Disclosure Statements

The (Nuu) Co does not prepare Vendor Disclosure Statements for vendors – that is something that a vendor must engage their solicitor to prepare on their behalf.

 

The reason why The (Nuu) Co does not prepare Vendor Disclosure Statements is because they are very important legal documents, and in our view must be prepared by a competent solicitor who is able to ensure its accuracy and provide the vendor with proper legal advice about its legal effect. Under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 (Qld), there may be serious ramifications for a vendor if a Vendor’s Disclosure Statement is inaccurate.
